What do the values in the posting number mean? The posting number is made up of the date the job opened, a sequence number for the number of jobs in that job title/code opened on that date and the job code. For example, 08-04-01-03-9020 means this posting was opened on April 1, 2008 (08-04-01), was the third job (-03) opened on that day for the Administrative Assistant job title/code (-9020).
