The Oxford Brookes University offers UT Kinesiology and Health
Education majors an excellent opportunity to take courses alongside
local students. The Functional Food Centre at Oxford Brookes is UK's
first research center, and it dedicates its research to the safety,
needs and policies of food nutrition and the food industry. The
university resides in the city of Oxford, and it has a mix of ancient
and modern art and architecture. For more than 800 years, the city has
attracted people from around the world due to its enriching history.
This program offers exceptional on site suppport and academic
advising. Buses run regularly from Oxford to London at a discounted
student rate, making travel and experiencing everything England has to
offer easy and affordable.

This program is only open to Education and Kinesiology majors.
Faculty
Courses taught by local faculty. Students have fewer contact hours with professors than they would have in the U.S. Students are expected to study and read outside of class. Most students will register for 4 classes (aka modules).

Housing
Students are guaranteed dormitory-style university housing. Students staying for just one semester will live in Clive Booth Student Village in standard accommodation (flats of 5-6 furnished bedrooms with shared kitchen/communal space and bathroom facilities).

Program Cost
Students pay a $75 application fee, $500 Exchange Admin fee, and regular UT tuition for their semester exchange. Students are responsible for airfare, passport/VISA, housing, transportation, and costs of living. Participants pay required emergency health insurance coverage at $19 per week. Financial aid and scholarships can be used.
