Paris, one of the world's most prominent centers of culture, finance,
and commerce, is the country's most populous city and a top tourist
destination. The capital of France will make you fall in love with its
historic landmarks, exquisite dining, and charming architecture.
From the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower, Paris has so much to offer! Spent
a summer diving into fascinating courses on French literature,
historical architecture, French language and live in the center of
culture. Courses are taught, in English, at CIEE Paris and
complemented with co-curricular activities designed to increase
intercultural understanding.

Academic Information
The Summer in Paris program is designed for students at all levels of French who wish to deepen their understanding of the language and culture of France. Two summer sessions are available. CIEE application deadlines vary.
Faculty
Students can attend any of CIEE's semester and summer programs in Paris, including Open Campus Block and Summer Music Creation + Critique. Please include the program link in your UT application. Program costs can be found in the specific program pages, budgets listed on the UT program page are an estimate.

Housing
Housing is included in the program fee. Students will be housed in student residences with American, French, and/or international students. 45' commute is an expected part of Parisian life. Scroll to housing description in the program overview.

Program Cost
Students pay a $75 application, $19/wk overseas insurance, and a $600 affiliated studies registration fee to UT Austin. Students pay an application and program fee (tuition, housing) to CIEE. See the Provider website for details. Federal financial aid and scholarships apply for full-time summer (6 credits)/semester (12) enrollment.
