architecture offers a rich cultural life, featuring festivals,
concerts, and cultural programs. Cobblestone streets, bridges, and a
castle overlooking dozens of churches, squares, and green spaces all
contribute to the "City of a Hundred Spires" being recognized as one
of the world's most beautiful cities.
Explore the history and culture of this dynamic Central European
nation through courses taught in English at CIEE Prague, as well as at
CIEE Prague's partner schools: Charles University and the Academy of
Performing Arts (FAMU). Choose from a wide array of courses in
business, politics, science, history, media and communications,
psychology, economics, art, religion, and literature that are
complemented by co-curricular activities to enhance classroom learning
and provide intercultural understanding.

Academic Information
Courses are taught in the CIEE study center by faculty affiliated with various universities in Prague. Students may enroll directly in specific media and communications classes at The Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) or liberal arts courses at Charles University.
Faculty
Students can attend any of CIEE's semester and summer programs in Prague including Open Campus Block. Please include the program link in your UT application. Program costs can be found in the specific program pages, budgets listed on the UT program page are an estimate.

Housing
Students studying for a semester have options for a homestay, dormitory, or CIEE-administered apartments. Summer students stay in CIEE-administered apartments with Charles University students. Some meals included for homestay.

Program Cost
Students pay to UT Austin $75 application fee, $19/wk overseas insurance, and $600 registration affiliated studies fee. Students pay to CIEE an application and program fee (tuition, housing). See details on CIEE website. Federal financial aid eligible with full-time su (6)/sem (12 credit) enrollment.
