- Rome, Italy
RILA offers interdisciplinary courses for students interested in
classics, humanities, philosophy and art history. Excursions led by
art historians and classicists, coupled with seminar-style
discussions, allow students to deepen their understanding of Italy's
artistic and cultural heritage.
Students may choose from a comprehensive set of courses tailored to
the Roman context. The sequence is carefully designed to expose
students to influential works of literature, philosophy, art and
architecture from the periods in which Rome was most relevant; namely,
antiquity, the middle ages, and the early modern period.
