MAYMESTER: PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS- BUENOS AIRES

Students will take Probability & Statistics, a degree requirement for many majors with UT professor Dr. Jorge Prozzi. One of the world's most enchanting capital cities, Buenos Aires is known at the Paris of South America. Millions of 19th century European immigrants marked the city with a special European flair. Famous for providing access to free college education, Argentina has produced world class engineers and scientists. On this 5-week Maymester, students live in homestays, attend class along side other UT students, are paired up with a local university student from ITBA as part of a buddy program, and have time to explore the city and other locations during 3-day weekends.
