The Killam Fellowship is an exciting exchange program offered by
Fulbright Canada. Accepted students receive a $5000 award per semester
to study at one of 18 Canadian partner institutions, making this
program a prestigoius and incredibly affordable opportunity.
Applicants will list their top choices of institutions which vary in
location, size, language immersion, and academic offerings leaving
flexibility to find a school that meets all of your personal and
academic needs.
In addition to studying abroad at a world class university, students
participating in this fellowship will be associated with the Fulbright
organization and it's professional development opportunities which
include internships, community engagement, travel, and more.
Students can choose to study for a semester or full year.

Students can choose from 18 different institutions to meet their academic needs. Please visit the link below for a full list of the participating schools. Students will need to conduct some of their own research, but will also receive guidance from the Study Abroad Program Coordinator and Fulbright.

Program Cost
Students receive a $6000 award from this Fulbright fellowship program after acceptance. Tuition costs and grants remain the same as a typical semester at UT. In addition to the award, students are still eligible for other scholarships. The Killam Fellowship also offers a $800 travel grant and an allowance towards health insurance.
