While Arabic is the official language of the United Arab Emirates, the language of instruction at AUS is English. All administrative functions are also conducted in English. AUS is an extremely diverse community of faculty, staff and students, 80% of over 6,500students come from outside the UAE, from around 92 countries throughout the Arabic/Islamic region and beyond. Studying abroad at AUS allows you to pursue your educational program at a top quality, ABET-accredited institution, while exposing you to a truly internationalized community in a rapidly growing part of the world. Faculty
Students enroll for a total of 12 credits to be taken at the partner university with partner university students plus a required 1 hour online course offered to engineering exchange students, ES 177, Cultural Analysis for Global Professionals. ES 177 carries the Global Cultures Flag.

Program Cost
Application fee of $75 and $500 exchange fee. UT students pay UT tuition and fees plus additional health insurance ($20 per week approximately). Dormitory costs, meals, and roundtrip ticket are payable to providers. Financial aid and UT scholarships apply.
