INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING PROGRAM IN PRAGUE

 

This intensive 5-week study abroad program is designed specifically for Texas MPA students at the McCombs School of Business. The program is offered through BBA International Programs in conjunction with the Prague University of Economics. Students take two courses (6 credit hours): Intl Accounting Policies & Procedures taught by McCombs professors and Doing Business in Central/ Eastern Europe taught by University of Economics faculty. Typically, several company visits complement the material covered in class. The courses count as ACC 380K.19 and MAN385. Typically, the courses can be applied as graduate accounting electives and/or graduate business electives. Founded in 1919, the University of Economics is the leading university in the field of management and economics in the Czech Republic. Prague is one of Europe's most beautiful cities and has been an economic center for over 1100 years.

Academic Information

Students take two courses for 6 credit hours. One course will be taught by a McCombs professor and the other course will be taught by VSE faculty.

Program Cost

Program fee includes tuition for 6 credits, housing, full-time on-site staff, weekly excursions, company visits, pre-departure and re-entry sessions.
