MAY TERM ABROAD: MECHATRONICS

Mechatronics is taught in English, by a UT professor, and it covers theory and application of electrical circuits, electromechanics, and electronics, as well as concepts in electrical power transmission, instrumentation, feedback, integration of electronics and instrumentation with mechanical engineering systems. Barcelona is one of the globe's most livable and successful cities. It has attracted the brightest minds for generations, and it continues to be a center for artists, engineers, businesses and innovation entrepreneurs. Through the program visits, students have an opportunity to learn about the practice of engineering in Spain and the European Union. Program activities also offer students opportunities to explore the region's unique blend of Spanish and Catalonian culture through activities centered around food, art, music, and the region's natural beauty.
