MAY TERM ABROAD: MACHINE ELEMENTS

Beautiful and historic Amsterdam, is a favorite among engineers and artists alike. Protected by a sophisticated system of dikes and floodgates, the city is a global hub for international transportation (direct flights are possible from Austin), creative industries, communication, sustainable infrastructure, technology, as well as a famed international business and trade center for many centuries. Recreation is as important as the arts to the Dutch; they are avid bikers and soccer players. Learn about how people and companies use machine elements to make highly advanced and precise technologies. Some of the best and most precise work available in the market, and in this field, is being done in The Netherlands. Meet guest lectures in the area of precision engineering and visit some of the world's most advanced manufacturing companies.
