This May Term program provides an immersive educational experience in Cognitive Neuroscience in Geneva, Switzerland. Cognitive neuroscience explores neural mechanisms of cognition, including perception, memory, and decision-making. This course examines brain structure's role in cognitive processes, emphasizing brain imaging, neural networks, and cognitive disorders, with a focus on critical thinking and experimental design. Students will explore neural mechanisms underlying cognition through lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, focusing on brain imaging, neuroplasticity, and cognitive disorders. Geneva, a global hub for scientific innovation, provides access to leading institutions like the University of Geneva, the University of Lausanne, and EPFL. The program integrates academic rigor with cultural activities, including boat tours, hikes, and visits ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Academic Information
The course will take place at the University of Geneva as Dr Pestilli has a strong connection with faculty there. Students are required to enroll in LA 119 in spring on Tuesdays from 3-4pm.

Dr. Pestilli will be teaching PSY 355N, and he is very excited to do so for the first time in Geneva! This program aligns with Dr. Pestilli's philosophy of integrating teaching and research, providing undergraduates with unique educational and research opportunities.

Program Cost
The program fee includes housing, some meals and activities, local transportation, and on-site orientation. The program fee does not include airfare, books, insurance, and personal expenses. Scholarship applications are due by November 1, 2025.
