MAY TERM ABROAD: INTRODUCTION TO NUMERICAL METHODS

This program provides a unique opportunity to master the fundamental concepts in numerical methods as well as spatial data analytics, and their relation to subsurface problems with petroleum and geosystems engineering. Scotland is home to some of the best universities for PGE study, including Heriot-Watt University and University of Aberdeen. Heriot-Watt is the leading center of excellence in geoenergy engineering and applied geoscience and our program will be collaborating with faculty and students while in Edinburgh. With an absolutely beautiful coastline and natural landscapes, Scotland is the perfect backdrop to explore these concepts at a much deeper level.
