Mechatronics covers the theory and application of electrical circuits, electromechanics, and electronics, as well as concepts in electrical power transmission, instrumentation, feedback, integration of electronics and instrumentation with mechanical engineering systems. Seoul is one of the most technologically advanced cities on the globe. In addition to being a major hub for manufacturing and electronics, it also has bustling markets, shopping districts, and neighborhoods with traditional crafts and souvenirs. Seoul is also a hub for Korean culture, including K-pop, K-dramas, and cuisine. Through the program visits, students have an opportunity to learn about the practice of engineering in both Korea and the region of Asia as a whole.
