RICHMOND IN FLORENCE

 

Study art, art history, Italian language and culture and more during a semester or year with AIFS in Florence, Italy. The Richmond Study Center is located in the Palazzo Michelozzi, a few minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo and many of the great Florentine museums.

En route to Florence, all students visit the exciting city of London. In Italy, AIFS offers trips to historic Rome and enchanting Venice, plus semester students will spend 2 weeks in Viareggio (fall) or Siena (spring) for orientation.

Academic Information

All courses are taught in English. Summer students must participate in 6 week program and take at least 6 credits. Please note that the first summer session start date could conflict with finals schedules and may require coordination with professors to be finished early.

Program Cost

Students pay a $75 application fee to UT, a $95 application fee to AIF refundable enrollment deposit to AIFS and a $600 affiliated studies fee to UT Austin. Some financial aid and scholarships can be used. AIFS offers UT Austin Gillman applicants scholarships.
