COLLEGE YEAR IN ATHENS

 

The College Year in Athens experience allows students to gain a greater understanding of ancient, medieval and modern Greece and the surrounding region. The program of studies juxtaposes the history and contributions of ancient Greece with the Greece of today. This programs is well suited for classics, archeology, and other liberal arts majors.

Academic Information

Students can take content courses in English as well as Greek and Latin. For the summer program, students must complete two consecutive 4-week sessions. See the link below for summer courses; CYA website for semester courses. It is strongly recommended to take a Greek language course while in a program, but it is not required.
