- Budapest, Hungary
Located in central Europe, Budapest is a stunning city rich in opportunities for anyone interested in history, art, music, food, commerce, and natural beauty. A leading university in Hungary, Corvinus is situated in central Budapest along the banks of the Danube river and is an ideal location for a student to spend a semester abroad. Corvinus offers a wide range of classes in English in a variety of subjects in business, economics, social sciences, as well as classes on Hungarian language and culture. Over four million tourists visit Budapest each year and enjoy seeing its castle, taking a dinner cruise on the Danube, having fun at the ruin pubs, and rejuvenating at one its 80 geothermal baths. As a student living there for a semester, you will get to enjoy all of this and much more! While there is plenty to keep one busy and fascinated in Budapest for a semester, it doesn't hurt that it is an ideal location for easy access to the rest of Europe's major cities over long weekends and holidays.
