HAUTES ETUDES COMMERCIALES

McCombs School of Business BBA, undergraduate iMPA and MBA students have the opportunity to study on exchange at Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC). Founded in 1881, HEC is one of the top business schools in Europe and has been ranked #1 in France. Located in Jouy en Josas, a suburb 10 miles from the center of Paris and a couple of miles from Versailles, public transportation makes getting to Paris extremely easy. Paris has a population of over 11 million people, beautiful parks and gardens, world-class museums, historical landmarks, excellent cuisine, and an incredible nightlife, among other things, all of which make it one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Students take regular university courses with students from the host country. There is no prior language requirement, as a wide selection of courses is taught in English. Participants earn regular UT in-residence credit. All grades earned for the courses undertaken are computed into the official UT-Austin GPA.
