Academic Information

IES offers semester & summer programs. Semester students = courses in SPN, ECO, LAS, HIS, POL, etc. Summer programs include an internship track and a Health Studies Program. SUMMER INTERNSHIP application deadline is February 15 to UT and program dates are May 18 - July 15.

Program Cost

ALL UT students receive $2,000 Public University Grant. $20,000 in UT Latin America scholarships awarded annually - International Education Fee Scholarship - $1000 scholarships for LAS majors or LAS (IRG) students. Merit based scholarships are also available from IES. Additional awards available including possible $1000 Gilman match
