ITESM offers the following course options:1)Spanish language plus courses taught in English,2)regular university courses taught in Spanish alongside Mexican students,3)internship plus regular university courses (summer is 5-8 weeks),4)research placement.Prereqs for certain courses may apply. Students must take 12 hrs/sem.

Housing
Students may choose to live in dormitory-style housing, in a homestay, independently. Homestay distances from campus may vary. Meals and laundry typically included in the homestay option.

Program Cost
Students pay $75 app fee and regular UT tuition for semester abroad. Student is responsible for airfare, passport/VISA, housing, food, local transportation, required overseas insurance coverage. Financial aid and scholarships may be used.

Academic Information
All students whose first language is not Spanish must take a Spanish placement test during orientation week. Only 5-10% of courses are taug ht in English. Full-time load is 4 courses. Fall Term: September-De cember; Spring Term: January-April; Summer: July-August.
