MAYMESTER: INTRO TO ENGINEERING DESIGN AND GRAPHICS

Explore the basics of engineering design and the way engineering design has shaped and influenced not only the products we use, but the environment we live in in. Vienna, Austria has been an industrial and cultural center of Europe for many centuries. It is an inspiring location in which to study the development of culture, engineering, architecture and their interconnections. The city offers magnificent examples of engineering achievement including basic engineering geometric construction and advanced design to move 1.6 million people efficiently in a modern city that aims to be sustainable, green and efficient. The course is taught in English but Survival German lessons are offered for orientation. The program travels to Switzerland to visit CERN and spend a day at Lake Geneva. The course meets a major requirements in aerospace, civil, and mechanical engineering but it is open to all engineers interested in learning Solid Works.
