- Dublin, Ireland
This skills-centered course represents a special opportunity in public relations education for all students at The University of Texas at Austin. This course focuses on all the essential elements of a basic PR class (writing, campaign design, interview skills) but it does so in one of the world's fastest changing environments. Ireland has witnessed dramatic changes in the last decade, as the social and cultural effects of the Celtic Tiger boom transformed the land from an agricultural to a technologically advanced industrial European power. Program highlights: visits to PR firms in Dublin, a one-day excursion to Glendalough, and various activities including an evening of Irish Music and Dancing.
