The Rome Study Program offers students of all majors the opportunity to spend seven weeks in Rome, Italy, during the first summer session and to visit some of the most beautiful Italian sites on weekends; some field trips are included in the cost, others are optional. Italian families host students providing an in-depth experience of Italian life-style and language. Classes meet for 1 1/2 hours each lesson from Monday to Thursday in a beautiful school in the center of Rome.

Academic Information
Students can earn 3-6 credit hours. The following courses are available: ITL 320 - Advanced Italian (first upper- division course in Italian), ITC 330 - Rome at the Movies (upper-division course in English). For Italian majors and minors: ITL 365 - Conference Course in Italian.
Faculty
Courses will be taught by UT Faculty. The Program Director is Amanda Bush. Students take either 3 or 6 credits while abroad.

Program Cost
Program cost is approximately $5,000. The fee does not cover airfare, UT tuition and fees, textbooks or lunches from Mon through Fr. For an extensive list of what the fee includes please see the website below. FOR STUDENTS ON FINANCIAL AID: you must take two courses for SIX credit hours in the summer in order to be eligible for financial aid.
