Students can participate in one of five tracks available at API Salamanca. during the academic year: 1) Language and Culture 2) Hispanic Studies 3) Medical and Health Program 4) Integrated Studies with Spaniards 5) International Studies and Business

Students can participate in the Summer Spanish Language and Culture programs.

Approved lengths of programs for UT credit consist of 12 weeks and beyond during the school year and 6 weeks and beyond for the summer programs.

Academic Information

Students can take a variety of credits (6-15) depending on the summer/semester option chosen. Some programs have certain levels of Spanish proficiency required.

Faculty

Academic Semesters: (1) Spanish Language and Culture program; (2) Multidisciplinary Studies for Advanced Spanish; (3) Health Studies (fall only) (4) Business and International Studies (5) Summer Spanish Language and Culture. Some programs are based on a trimester schedule; please talk to PC about best option.

API students in Salamanca can choose from two different living options: homestays or residencias. More information can be found on the API website

Program Cost

Students will pay $75 application fee, $19/wk overseas insurance, and a $600 affiliated studies registration fee to UT Austin. Students pay an application and program fee (tuition, housing) to API. See provider website for more details. Federal financial aid and scholarships apply for full-time summer (6 credits)/semester (12) enrollment.
