McCombs School of Business BBA and undergraduate iMPA students have the opportunity to study on exchange at the University of Bath in Bath, England.

Established in 1966, the University of Bath has over 12,000 students from over 100 countries. The School of Management has over 2,100 students and is one of the UK's leading business schools. Bath has a population of almost 90,000 and is located in Southwest England, about 100 miles west of London. It is home to the world famous Roman Baths, The Circus, the Jane Austen Centre, and the Holburne Museum of Art.

Students take regular university courses with students from the host country. Participants earn regular UT in-residence credit. All grades earned for the courses undertaken are computed into the official UT-Austin GPA.

Academic Information

Students should choose the majority of their courses from Year 4 Courses are 3 credits at UT. Final exams occur after winter break but exchange students are allowed to take them before they leave in December by coordination with professors early in the fall.

Housing

University housing is limited and placement is unlikely for exchange. Students are guided to locate private housing accommodations in the community. Exchange students generally live in apartment-style housing close to campus. Look at the brochure link on this page for more info.

Program Cost

Students pay a $75 application fee, $500 Exchange Admin fee, and regular UT tuition for their semester exchange. Students are responsible for airfare, passport/VISA, housing, transportation, and costs of living. Participants pay required emergency health insurance coverage at $19 per week. Financial aid and scholarships can be used.
