Academic Information
Students are expected to focus mainly on courses in Communication, but other options are also available. Most classes are taught in Spanish. Credit-bearing internship option is available to students participating the Spring. Spanish language courses are also available, but there is an additional fee. Finalists may be interviewed.
Faculty
Students participating in this exchange program earn regular in- residence credit, just as if they were taking courses on campus in Austin. All grades earned for the courses undertaken are computed into the official UT GPA.

Program Cost
Students pay a $75 non-refundable application fee and regular UT tuition, and are responsible for airfare, passport/visa, housing, food, local transportation, and other costs of living. Students are required to purchase international health insurance. Financial aid and scholarships may be used.

Academic Information
Several courses are taught in English each semester, so it is not mandatory that students be fluent in Spanish unless they plan to take courses taught in Spanish. There are Spanish language course options for exchange students including an intensive Spanish Summer Course in August.

Students pay a $75 application fee, $500 Exchange Admin fee, and regular UT tuition for their semester exchange. Students are responsible for airfare, passport/VISA, housing, transportation, and costs of living. Participants pay required emergency health insurance coverage at $19 per week. Financial aid and scholarships can be used.
