UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD

Named UK University of the Year by the 2011 Times Higher Education Awards, the University of Sheffield is widely recognized for its world-class teaching and research. The university hosts about 25,000 students from 128 countries and offers tremendous student support through its #1 ranked Students' Union. In Sheffield, one of the largest cities in England, you can find all the buzz and stimulation of city life, but none of the stress. Instead, there's a friendly, laid-back feel, and some staggeringly beautiful scenery. Considered the greenest city in England, Sheffield has more than 100 woodlands and 40 public parks.

UT students can take a wide variety of courses alongside local students. Sheffield is particularly known for its academic rigor in politics/international relations, journalism, and engineering. **Sheffield offers a specific scholarship just for UT students.**
