McCombs School of Business BBA and undergraduate iMPA students have
the opportunity to study on exchange for a semester at ESCP Europe in
Paris, France. ESCP Europe was founded in 1918 and today is among the
top three business schools in France. ESCP has over 3,500 students at
its five campuses located in Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, and
Torino. Paris has a population of over 11 million people and attracts
over 45 million visitors each year with its beautiful parks and
gardens, world class museums, historical landmarks, excellent cuisine,
and an incredible nightlife.
Students take regular university courses with students from the host
country. There is no prior language requirement, as a wide selection
of courses is taught in English. Participants earn regular UT in-
residence credit. All grades earned for the courses undertaken are
computed into the official UT-Austin GPA.

Academic Information
Most courses taught in French but there are some in English incl. topics in FIN/MKT/IB/MIS/MAN. Some are worth 3 UT credits, others just 1 UT credit. ESCP prefers seniors but will admit students going during spring of junior year earliest. Courses are taught at Master's level, assume prior knowledge, and are quite challenging.

- 2020-2022 Catalog: must complete STA 235 & DS 235 before going abroad

Housing
University housing is not available. Students are guided to locate private accommodations in the community. Exchange students generally live in a housing community close to campus. Students can search for accommodations in Paris through Cite Universitaire Internationale Web site below.

Program Cost
Students pay a $75 application fee, $500 Exchange Admin fee, and regular UT tuition for their semester exchange. Students are responsible for airfare, passport/VISA, housing, transportation, and costs of living. Participants pay required emergency health insurance coverage at $19 per week. Financial aid and scholarships can be used.
