HKUST ranks as the #2 best university in Asia and #35 worldwide. This exchange is open to McCombs School of Business and Cockrell School of Engineering undergraduate and graduate students. Since all courses are taught in English and the curriculum and calendar match UT's very well, completing degree requirements in a timely manner is easy. The university has about 6,000 undergraduates including several hundred top exchange students from all over the world. The campus setting offers panoramic vistas of the ocean and the mountains as well as very modern facilities for classrooms, laboratories, dormitories and libraries. Program Cost
Students pay a $75 application fee, $500 Exchange Admin fee, and regular UT tuition for their semester exchange. Students are responsible for airfare, passport/VISA, housing, transportation, and costs of living. Participants pay required emergency health insurance coverage at $19 per week. Financial aid and scholarships can be used.

Academic Information
All HKUST courses are taught in English. For the semester exchange, only one of your courses can be from outside of engineering but in the summer, students are free to take as many non engineering courses as they wish. The summer program offers a Laboratory Internship for credit. Mandarin and Cantonese languages are offered for a small fee.
