Advisors' Toolkit (ATK) and Reporting Toolkit (RTK)

ATK provides admins with data specific to a single student. RTK provides admins reporting on
students, classes, and some advisor/instructor information.

No. Data is used University-wide. Reports may be run for a college, but there are no system customizations
based on what college is using the system.

ATK data is primarily real-time, mainframe, Registrar data. RTK data is usually a day old.

In general, if you are authorized for mainframe student data (NRRECS), you can use these systems, if an
authorized supervisor requests access.

Graduation System
|
Admin-facing pages assist a college's graduation administrators in
processing applications and certifying degrees by allowing them to view, analyze,
and update student
applications. Some functions make ATK Notes, email students, and/or
email admins.

Summer-Orientation appointment scheduling
|
Allows Summer-Orientation admins for a college to maintain
a list of advisors (could be many), available session days/times, other group meetings, and scheduling
preferences. Loads summer-orientees (could be hundreds) from New Student Services into our database and
allows admins to run a process to schedule said orientees with the entered advisors for a session.

Provides an email and/or paper "slip" for orientees, so they can see a list of their appointments.

Advising Wait-List system
|
Allows colleges/department admins to add students to an advising waiting list.
Advisors/dispatchers can remove the student from the wait-list as they are ready, which provides some
tracking information of which list, how long the student waited, who they saw, and the system
can send post-advising surveys. Can make ATK Notes.

Can provide zoom links and minimal text alerts to students, as appointments are processed.

The Student Registration-Change Request
|
System will notify appropriate admin staff, when students request changes,
and admin staff can view reports of these students and check students off as processed from said report.

such as Q-drops and Withdrawals, to their registration. Sends student email confirmations.

The Student Paper Proprosal Pre-Approval Request

System will notify appropriate admin staff, when students submit a paper proposal pre-approval request,
and professors can view reports of these students.
