Service Award Certificates, Pins, and Framing
Service Award Certificates
Service award certificates are prepared for all recipients by Human Resources and will be mailed along with award pins by the end of April to the recipient's home address listed in Workday. Certificates for those with 10-25 years of service will receive theirs in a cardboard mailer to prevent damage during transit. Those with 30 or more years of service will receive their certificate in a UT Austin branded padded portfolio.
The President’s Staff Award lapel pin is the university’s expression of gratitude to its longstanding employees for their years of service and commitment. The gold setting symbolizes the staff member’s value to the university. The UT symbol represents quality and innovation, while precious stones signify a lasting relationship. Pins will be mailed to Service Award recipients along with their certificates in April.

A framed certificate is an additional way for a department to recognize an employee receiving a Staff Service Award.
If your department would like to have certificates framed, please work with Copy Services in Document Solutions to have the certificates for your department reprinted and sent to Project Management and Construction Services (PMCS) for framing.
Departments may request certificates be framed by Project Management and Construction Services. Departments interested in this service may submit a CRIB request via WORQS. Once the request has been entered, departments will deliver the certificates to be framed to the PMCS office, FC1, 1.120. Please allow three weeks for framing. The cost to frame certificates is $80.00.
Departments are encouraged to take advantage of this service; Project Management and Construction Services does an excellent job of framing certificates.
