Service Award Certificates, Pins, and Framing

Service Award Certificates

Human Resources will prepare service award certificates for all recipients and mail them, along with award pins, in a UT Austin branded padded portfolio to the recipient's work address by the end of March. Please make sure your address is accurate in Workday. Some departments have chosen to frame certificates and in that case your certificate may be presented to you by your department.

Award Pins

The President’s Staff Award lapel pin is the University’s expression of gratitude to its longstanding employees for their years of service and commitment. The gold setting symbolizes the staff member’s value to the University. The UT symbol represents quality and innovation, while precious stones signify a lasting relationship. Pins will be mailed to Service Award recipients along with their certificates.

Certificate Framing

Framing certificates is a great way for departments to honor employees receiving a Staff Service Award.

Departments can request framing services from Construction Services by submitting a Paid Service Request via UT Works. After submitting the request, departments should deliver the certificates to the Construction Services office at FC1, 1.120. Departments have the option to collect certificates from the award recipients or ask Document Solutions to reprint them. Please allow three weeks for the framing process. The cost for framing each certificate is $97.

Departments are encouraged to take advantage of this service; Construction Services does an excellent job of framing certificates.
