Improve Operational Efficiency/Effectiveness of Organizations by working with customers to develop well-conceived/managed improvement processes. Duties include advising customers on the latest techniques/best practices regarding internal/external quality, resource utilization, workforce development, innovation, environmental soundness/financial management, strategic/operational planning, continuous improvement, supply chain, new product development/commercialization and measurement systems. Develop proposals in response to private and government Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI). Duties include assessing operations, understanding the problem, developing solution and preparing a written response. Sell services of TMAC. Duties include developing leads, assessing opportunities, and following a consultative sales process resulting in a contract that ensures the customer engages TMAC to solve their problem. Manage projects to ensure that cost, schedule and performance expectations are met. Duties include forming the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, establishing the schedule, developing the budget and managing the project to satisfy the customers' performance expectations. The project manager is responsible for conducting milestone reviews and completing after actions reports. Develop relationships with businesses to build strategic partnerships with customers. PhD in Engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience in process and product related operations and project management. Over 7 years of relevant education and experience in process and product related operations and project management. Experience with process design or product design. Extensive experience and proven success in all or some of the following: Operations Improvement Management, implementing Lean Techniques, or implementing Quality Management Systems, Supply Chain Management and Improvement, Warehousing, Logistics, and Transportation, familiarity with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 implementation. Instruction and business coaching experience. Professional Engineer. Proficient in Spanish language. Six Sigma Black Belt. Lean Certified by SME. LEED Certified. Good communication, presentation and selling skills. Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office and Windows 7. Relevant education and experience in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
