Lead medium to large development efforts as the Project Manager. Interact with the user community to gather and document business requirements, conduct process analysis, and draft conceptual design. Create technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements. Ability to design, code, test, and install complex computer programs based on technical specifications using the ERP development environment and the ERP developer's toolset (currently PeopleSoft and PeopleTools). Perform data mapping, conversion testing, and end-user documentation. Assess the impact of PeopleSoft updates and provide proposals for applying them effectively. Assist users in completing User Acceptance. Work with users and IT members on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software. Identify the cause, design or develop an approach for resolution. Upon approval, implement the correction/customize software.

Bachelor?s Degree with coursework in computing or information systems and eight years of progressively responsible computer programming and analysis experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: Thorough knowledge of the methods and equipment used in electronic data processing, including system analysis and design, and computer programming techniques. Strong skill in writing programs for computer applications. Strong skill in analyzing and solving complex data processing and computing problems. Strong understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines. Ability to coordinate a work team and train lower level programmers and analysts for specific tasks or assignments. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
5+ years extensive experience in analysis, design, and development utilizing PeopleSoft Tools (PeopleTools 8.49+, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, PS Query, PeopleCode, Crystal Reports); 5+ years of PeopleSoft Application experience (version 8.x+ preferred). 5+ years of SQL. 3+ years of formal project management experience. Strong understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle; specifically related to PeopleSoft application development. Strong understanding of and experience applying project management principles to software development endeavors. Experience integrating PeopleSoft 8.x with non-PeopleSoft Applications. Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel). Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Certifications in supported technologies. PMP certification. Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization. Experience with PeopleSoft modules - Campus Solutions, CRM, Portal.
