Responsible for relationship management between the University of Texas Dell Social Innovation Challenge team and the Dell, Inc. teams as well as for the coordination of various parties (UT, Dell, vendors, etc.) involved in marketing, communications, volunteer management, PR, and growth strategy.
Work with UT and Dell teams to: (1) set annual program targets and ongoing tracking of program performance against those targets, and (2) develop a detailed annual project plan with tasks, deadlines and resource assignments. Lead communications and program updates between UT and Dell teams, including regular update meetings with Dell program coordinator as well as quarterly team meetings involving UT and Dell leadership. Provide support to Dell in employee volunteer recruitment, training, and ongoing engagement. Provide oversight of DSIC employee volunteer training programs and employee customer service such as mentor training, team matching, etc. Work with UT and Dell marketing teams to facilitate implementation of marketing strategies, including working with Dell to understand internal and external communications requirements, working with UT, Dell and vendors to coordinate design and production of required marketing materials, and facilitation of other marketing initiatives as needed. Provide focal point of support for public relations teams (UT, Dell, contract) to facilitate implementation of PR strategies, including coordination between UT, Dell and contract PR teams. Coordinate and facilitate ongoing technical and operational improvements for the Dell challenge, including consolidating recommendations for improvements, communicating needs and priorities to the UT team and associated vendors, etc. Coordinate and facilitate communications between Dell and DSIC participants and winners. Produce an annual investor report to Dell.

Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven years of responsible level experience in program administration or program coordination. Must be well-suited to working in a fast-paced "start-up" environment with short timeframes, rapidly changing requirements and expectations, and limited resources. Must be extremely detail and task oriented. Able to manage numerous deadlines and meet each one. Able to maintain a precise account of tasks and to prioritize and work with minimal supervision to produce very high quality work. Possess outstanding interpersonal and written and verbal skills. Able to connect effectively with different groups of people (UT, Dell, vendors, etc.), via telephone, email and web and to identify opportunities for better coordination as well as potential problems. The ideal candidate must be anticipatory and able to preemptively determine what is required for the program's success. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
