Develops and maintains software to directly support the ITS Networking group's task of managing and operating the University's campus and residential networks, and supports Networking's 24x7 operations.
Works in a team of developers to design, code, and integrate software and systems to support of the University's network operations. Configures, installs, and operates servers and services using custom developed, open-source, and commercial software, providing services for internal and external consumption. Configures, installs, and operates network equipment to support departmental networks on campus. Supports 24x7 operational responsibilities and participates in the Networking group's internal escalation path.
Other related functions as assigned.
Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
