Work with IT teams and customers to develop, maintain, and enhance the PeopleSoft ERP application. Responsible for assisting in the design, development, and support of PeopleSoft. Serve primarily as a developer, with some duties as a business process analyst.
Design, code, test, and install complex computer programs based on technical specifications using the ERP development environment and the ERP developer's toolset (currently PeopleSoft and PeopleTools). Create technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements. Perform data mapping, conversion testing, and end-user documentation. Interact with the user community to gather and document business requirements, conduct process analysis, and draft conceptual design. Assess the impact of PeopleSoft updates and provide proposals for applying them effectively. Work with users and IT members on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software. Identify the cause, design or develop an approach for resolution. Upon approval, implement the correction/customize software. Assist users in completing User Acceptance.

Bachelors Degree with coursework in computing or information systems and three years of related computing or programming work experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: 1) Considerable knowledge of the methods and equipment used in electronic data processing, including system analysis and design, and computer programming techniques; 2) Skill in writing programs for computer applications; 3) Knowledge of all phases of the application development life-cycle and project management disciplines; 4) Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions. 3+ years of systems analysis, design, and software programming experience in a combination of: 2+ years of experience in analysis, design, and development utilizing PeopleSoft Tools (People Tools, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, PS Query, PeopleCode, Crystal Reports); 1+ year of experience with SQL Plus. Experience with PeopleSoft Applications - Financials, Human Resources, Campus Solutions, CRM, EPM, and/or Applications Portal. Experience using the Quest STAT version control/change management tool. Understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle. Understanding and application of project management disciplines. Familiar with relational database concepts. Certifications in supported technologies. Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization.
