Perform advanced and complex activities related to the core processes of the office; primarily in Degree Audit. Tasks are demanding and generally not clearly defined. Under limited supervision, exercises discretion in defined situations.
Conduct various core operations of the Registrar's office including yet not limited to Degree Audit. Evaluate current processes and help develop future plans to improve the services of the office. Be attentive to operational efficiency and effectiveness for assigned sections, including ensuring documentation of core processes and monitoring compliance and risk management. Answer and process higher level or complicated requests for information and service. Serve as a problem solver for dean's offices and departmental staff. Provide support and assistance to Assistant Registrar. Accept incoming calls, and respond to questions about university and office policy and procedure. Represent office as a department liaison. Prepare and assemble reports and presentations.

Bachelor's degree and three years of administrative experience. Demonstrated adaptability, experience working in a team setting, attention to detail, ability to engage, be motivated in the work environment, both strong written and oral communication, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to display tact and professionalism, work cooperatively in the office environment, and provide excellent customer service. Require minimal supervision and use time efficiently. Respond to requests for service and assistance. Exhibit sound and accurate judgment. Demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles. Ability to take initiative in working both independently and in cooperation with others. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Experience with a student management system, NRRECS, DEFINE, and/or coding requirements in the degree audit system. Proven ability to analyze issues and offer practical solutions. Extensive experience in a position that demonstrated advanced competency in direct customer service, problem solving, process improvement or related job knowledge. Demonstrated organizational ability, negotiation skills, and work under pressure. Experience in identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner. Experience working in a university environment and assisting individuals from diverse cultures. Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
