To serve as the primary recruiting contact for students and employers for the College of Natural Sciences.
Schedule and coordinate all on-campus recruiting for approximately 200 employers and 1000 students. Provide regular correspondence to students and employers regarding recruitment activities and upcoming events. Reserve rooms and order audiovisual equipment for over 100 recruiting and company information sessions. Manage job posting database; advise students and employers on utilizing the recruitment database. Interact regularly with corporate recruiters to recommend strategies to help meet recruitment goals and objectives. Greet corporate recruiters, provide recruiting packets and respond to requests during on-campus visits. Research and develop relationships with companies and organizations in order to provide increased opportunites for Natural Sciences students. Maintain detailed records of recruitment activities; compile and process data for recruiting reports.
Provide front desk assistance and back up as needed. Other related functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree. Three years experience in event management, student recruitment, career services, business marketing, or human resources employment services or related experience. Demonstrated strong organizational skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment. Excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Five or more years of the above mentioned experience. Experience with the natural sciences fields. Experience within a university environment.
