Invent, design, model, simulate and test robotic systems for assistive (healthcare, automation, industrial, etc.) applications Manage industry / academia collaboration Lead technology programs and assist in transferring technology towards commercialization Contribute patentable ideas and prepare patent disclosures and patent applications Deliver effective presentations, reports and publications internally and externally as appropriate Identify funding opportunities and prepare and submit proposals to government agencies, industry, and academic partners

Ph.D. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline. At least 5 years of experience in relevant field. Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing unique robotics solutions for assistive applications. Must be able to work on ITAR related projects. Appointment will be based on qualifications of candidate selected.
