Join a supportive and collaborative team in the College of Liberal Arts Dean's Office. Support Executive Assistants to Dean of the College, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dean of Research. Additional hours may be required during peak periods and special events.

Purpose

Support Executive Assistants to the College of Liberal Arts Deans. General front desk receptionist duties.

Essential Functions

Manage front desk of the Dean's Office in the College of Liberal Arts. Maintain professional atmosphere. Manage scheduling conference rooms, oversee after hours events. Assist with Dean's Office events. Support Executive Assistants (EAs) to the Dean of the College, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dean of Research. Assist in organization of projects overseen by EA's as requested. Supervise student workers, manage schedules, distribute work load. Maintain supplies of general office necessities.

Marginal/Incidental functions

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Three years of experience with clerical functions. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent and demonstrated organizational skills. Professional demeanor. Ability to maintain punctual, dependable hours on a regular basis. Experience providing proactive exceptional customer service, ability to multitask and to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team environment. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and more than the minimum number of years experience with clerical functions and office decorum, supervisory experience.
