Additional Information

Purpose

To support the Texas MBA Admissions Marketing/Events team with general event and marketing logistics, including processing prospective student records, event support and planning, and other office administrative functions (i.e. forms/payment processing, budget tracking, etc).

Essential Functions

Support admissions marketing and events including: Event related prospect communications/promotion, logistical event details (i.e. event planning, shipping of materials, packets, etc). Support general office administrative functions including: Maintenance of promotional materials inventory, tracking marketing/event budget, forms (room reservations, event request forms, contract processing, etc.), payment processing Support creation/maintenance of recruitment calendar: Includes leading calendar meetings, updating admissions calendars (internal/external) Support prospect processing efforts including: Lead uploads, prospect database management (i.e. reporting, unsubscribe, mailings). Other As Needed: Collect benchmarking information as appropriate to support marketing initiatives. Support prospect inquiries both on and off campus, attending events as needed. Support website update initiatives.

Required qualifications

High School graduation or GED. Five years of clerical experience. Ability to work successfully with little supervision. Ability to handle competing priorities in a high-pressure environment. Professional demeanor. Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) with a service-oriented attitude. Works well in a team environment. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience at the administrative assistant level. 1-2 years of experience coordinating events and marketing efforts. Experience with content management systems and an interest in website benchmarking.
