Provides accurate and skillful examination and evaluation of undergraduate application of student academic records for admission. Evaluates and enters transfer paperwork.

Essential Functions

Reviews and processes applications for undergraduate admissions, evaluates and enters transcripts from high school, colleges, and universities by comparing course credits, which are to be transferred with those required by UT Arlington. Reviews and processes applications for admissibility. Provides support to advisors and faculty. Corresponds with officials of high schools and institutions of higher education concerning course credits and content compatibility. Advises students preparing to transfer to other universities in relation to the transferability of credit hours. Compares content of courses at the university and those at other universities or institutions.

Required qualifications

Completion of 60 college credit hours. 2 years of experience in a position requiring considerable record keeping accuracy and detail-oriented work. Applicants must include in their online resume the following information: 1) Employment history: name of company, period employed (from month/year to month/year), job title, summary of job duties and 2) Education: school name, degree type, major, graduated or not, and hours completed if not graduated. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with various office software products such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience and knowledge of MyMav (PeopleSoft). Excellent communications skills.

Working conditions

May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Climbing of stairs Occasional work outside of normal office hours may be required during peak times. Criminal background check conducted.
