To provide first line support to U. T. System employees requiring technical assistance with hardware and software-related needs as well as maintenance of U. T. System's network.
Provide technical support to System Administration customers regarding software and hardware issues which may include assessing needs and determining and implementing the best solution. Assist departments in determining and installing equipment and/or upgrade needs. Maintenance of active directory and other applications required for access to applications and resources. Perform general administrative duties such as answering customer inquiries, updating helpdesk tickets and attending meetings. Provide customer service and follow-up tracking reports as requested.
Other related functions as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 3 years extensive experience utilizing and supporting information technology equipment and software as well as experience with active directory administration. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
