Responsible for developing, conducting, coordinating, supervising and promoting a variety of training and communication programs, primarily related to the implementation of the University Compliance and Ethics Program, and other University departments, offices or work units.
Develops, coordinates and conducts specialized training courses and employee workshops both online and in the classroom. Acts as a consultant and resource person on policies and problems relating to training activities. Provides customer service and troubleshooting for the online training system. Writes memos, reports and communiques on training and development matters affecting UT Austin personnel, including but not limited to designing and creating pamphlets, posters and other promotional materials. Develops and trains specialists to conduct training programs, and reviews communication for clarity and effectiveness. Acts as liaison between UT Austin and outside training agencies, organizations and societies. Works with these groups to develop new training and development opportunities and to keep abreast of new developments in the training field. Reviews training courses, techniques and materials to determine effectiveness. Plans long-range training goals and objectives, conducts training research and pilot programs. Maintains accurate records of training activities and performs related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree. Six years of experience developing and conducting training programs. Technical experience in creating web-based training courses, including knowledge of accessibility standards for web content. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Seven or more years experience in the training field at a large university, college, agency or organization. Experience with learning management systems. Experience with advanced programming and software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
