Coordinate and administer human resources support for multiple departments (over 1,000 FTEs)
Audits collection, processing, and reporting of automated and manual time report transactions. Works closely with Payroll on various payroll and HRMS issues. Processes overtime, on-call, supplemental pay, and shift differential pay. Processes appropriate personnel forms and electronic documents. Coordinates all human-resources activities for recruitment and hiring of new personnel, including processing appropriate selection documentation. Assists with annual salary and merit updates for several large departments. Serves as a contact for all HRMS-related issues for several University departments, including Business and Financial Services, Facilities Services, Project Management and Construction Services, and Campus Planning. Acts as liaison to Human Resource Services (HRS), Payroll, and other university departments. Serves as primary contact for the several departments. Researches, collects, and compiles information for quarterly metrics for Personnel Services. Develops and maintains statistical data on personnel-related matters such as leave without pay, assignment changes, On-the-Spot Awards, etc. Ensures that department is in compliance with all institutional rules and regulations pertinent to human-resources functions. Serves as team member of Personnel Services Team. Works closely with team members and provides support. Answers phones, checks-in new hires, processes background checks, schedules employees for WorkSTEPS testing, maintains personnel files, and provides customer service to employees at both Main Campus and PRC locations.

High school graduation or GED. Four years of experience in a human resources function. Experience working with sensitive and confidential information and forms. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
More than four years of experience in a human resources function. Familiarity with University rules and regulations. DEFINE experience and HRMS. Experience with MS Office. Professional demeanor. Ability to multi-task and attention to details. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate professionally with a diverse group of customers, both internal and external.
