Support and deliver Business Intelligence services; develop data warehousing solutions with large volumes of data to support critical issues to Chancellor and UT System Board of Regents; maintain efficient operations of automated processes by designing, documenting, implementing and maintaining technical applications.
Performs complex analytical and technical work in relation to various computer applications, databases, websites, and systems. Analyzes user needs, determines requirements, and develops and implements software solutions to meet user requirements. Develops and maintains systematic reporting capabilities, documentation, and web-based sites. Serves as metadata/platform administrator for SAS Business Intelligence Environment and star schema data warehouse/data marts and transactional databases such as Oracle/PeopleSoft.

Bachelor's degree. Three years of previous work experience in a SAS Business Intelligence Environment with a concentration on stored process development/maintenance, application administration and metadata permissions and security. At least one year of experience with ETL and data warehouse processes. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Master's degree. Intermediate experience in developing and maintaining the SAS Business Intelligence Platform; Intermediate skill in SAS Stored Process driven application development and maintenance; Basic knowledge of administrative or educational software applications, such as Student, Finance, or Human Resources Systems; Intermediate knowledge of current standards in relation to the compliance of security and data protection. Basic ability to test, debug, and document software programs. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of databases and data files, including creating, merging, modifying, and editing files as needed; Advanced ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy; Intermediate ability to work independently, with general supervision; Intermediate ability to function as part of a collaborative team; Intermediate to Advanced ability to evaluate and analyze data; Advanced ability to shift priorities quickly, without losing track of projects.
