Provide assistance and administrative support to the Texas Performing Arts (TPA) Marketing area.
Assist Marketing Director in creating advertising plans and budgets, and with maintaining the advertising schedule(s). Research new community partnerships and advertising opportunities for TPA performances. Manage highly detailed Broadway and concert advertising settlements. Serve as TPA Business Office contact for Marketing, to include overseeing accounts payable and budget reconciliation. Maintain productive and successful relationships with media partners, and secure and submit ads as assigned. Oversee poster and flyer distribution, mailings, and help maintain signage and other marketing collateral in TPA venues. Handle all ticket requests for Marketing area. Provide support for website and social media updates as assigned.

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level, or high school graduation or GED, and five years of clerical experience, including one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated advanced organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Experience processing invoices and working with vendors. Working knowledge of current trends in the marketing field. Basic knowledge of FileMaker Pro. Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with individuals of varying artistic and administrative backgrounds. Experience performing in a position where multi-tasking skills were critical to the job.
