Additional Information

Purpose

To provide administrative and clerical support for the Longhorn Foundation and to provide information and access to visitors of the Walter W. Fondren III Athletics Leadership Center.

Essential Functions

Prepare forms, documents, and mailings to support Longhorn Foundation activities, answer multi-line telephone system. Maintain an orderly and professional office environment; maintain orderly files; perform routine office tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, mailing; coordinate and/or supervise student staff that assist with the preceding functions and special projects as assigned. Providing excellent customer service, greet and welcome visitors to the Walter W. Fondren III Athletics Leadership Center in the North End Zone. Notify staff of the arrival of visitors and arrange for expeditious handling to facilitate their arrival.

Other related functions as assigned.

Required qualifications

High school graduation or GED, some college credit or relative training/certification. One year of experience with clerical functions. Experience in clerical activities including preparing forms, documents, and mailings. Ability to answer multi-line telephone system; maintain an orderly and professional office environment; maintain orderly files and perform routine office tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, mailing. Ability to coordinate and manage work of others. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and with limited supervision. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work constructively in a team environment. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet browsers. Advanced customer service skills. Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, department names, staff names and roles. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications
