Assists with maintenance and support of online courses in the Blackboard Learning Management System and related digital teaching and learning technologies.
Assists with support and training of faculty and students on the Blackboard Learning Management System and other online learning tools. Provides technical troubleshooting support to faculty and students using the Blackboard Learning Management System and other online tools. Ensures all course delivery systems and courses residing on them are properly functioning through the careful administration of the learning management system, compatibility testing of multiple operating systems, browsers, and plug-ins, etc. Meets support service levels with instructors and students through responsive and proactive contact via phone, email and in person. Updates online support documentation. Represents the University through professional organizations, presentations and training. Other functions as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, related degree, or equivalent experience in online course support or Learning Management System (LMS) administration. 1 year of experience supporting development and delivery of online courses through Learning Management Systems. Experience with HTML and HTML editors with a basic knowledge of graphic design software and other multimedia applications. Excellent communication (written and oral), customer service and problem solving skills via phone, email and in person. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Help desk and training experience a plus. Knowledge of web-related hardware, including PC, Mac, and web conferencing. Experience in technical support of varied desktop platforms, browsers and related plug-ins. Experience training and supporting faculty in the use of online learning software for course development and delivery of instruction and materials. Application of learning and instructional design theories with knowledge of fair use and copyright.
