Additional Information

Purpose

Manage all registration-related duties on behalf of the Working Professional MBA, Executive MBA, MSTC, MSF and MSBA programs. Assist Student Accounts in processing payments. Serve as primary point of contact for program staff regarding all Registrar-related matters.

Essential Functions

Perform all registration-related duties for 8 programs at the McCombs School of Business. Includes: working with program, GIAC and Registrar's Office staff to ensure accurate and timely registration; processing SS2 documents in DEFINE for all enrolled students; registering students for classes; proactively contacting students concerning any bars or past due balances preventing their registration; restricting courses to respective major codes and seating limitations; processing student withdrawals, add/drops, leaves of absence; coding students to graduate; generating scholastic dismissal reports and continuing students on academic probation (with program approval); adding financial bars to past due student accounts and removing advising bars when needed; working with GIAC and Registrar's Office to resolve coding and registration issues. Process and log all tuition payments into FileMaker and verify deposits. Ability to speak to large student popluations. Attending neccessary events to interact with MBA students.

Required qualifications

High School graduation or GED. Five years of clerical experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate to a broad audience. Keen attention to detail and superior organization skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Professional demeanor. Proven interpersonal skills with experience providing complex administrative support. Experience managing multiple, overlapping deadlines. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least two years related experience in registrar duties. Prior experience working in a university environment, particularly in managing course registration and tuition payments as well as working with a very large population of students and managing extremely detailed reports. Experience using DEFINE, FileMaker as well as processing financial transactions is also strongly preferred.
